spent a lovely two hours in Edinburgh today revisiting familiar places and re-orientating myself in the city. featured are: a birthday haul of books from @lighthousebks thanks to our lovely neighbours/pals @beckywojturska ; walking to our old tenement off cowgate which we moved to almost exactly 4 years ago! Some of yous might recognise the red door... it was kinda horrible but also great and im really glad we don't live there now the ground floor is a hostel lol; brunch from @beetrootsauvage (look at that French toast); and the blossom on the meadows (made me think of @stleonardscrag 🌸🌸) #edinburgh #scotland #booksta #queer #saoralba #trans #vegansofig #veganedinburgh #daytrip #errands

today we are 'at' @swanseazinefest - we are part of the zine readings at 3pm BST (making pancakes on a campstove in our garden lol) and we also put together a wee video all about @edinburghzinelibrary Because we don't have access to the physical library at the moment, the video relied heavily on my obsessive scrapbooking of everything to do with the zine library - from visiting weirdo zine fest in Hackney in 2017 (our first zine fair!) where we had the idea, to now, via a lot of beautiful envelopes, lovely notes and ofc amazing zines! Putting the video together also made me feel very soppy and grateful for the zine library crew, who feel like a little fam and who have been such a touchstone for us during the last year and a bit, and for zines generally which have connected us with so many amazing people.
