We’re Abi and Lili, a queer couple who write, make zines, do art and ride bikes. We set up Edinburgh Zine Library in 2017. Lili works as a campus cycling officer at Fife College and writes about bikes, zines, zine making/librarianship and mental health on their blog here.
We’ve finished two long bike tours. The story of our first, from Amsterdam to Montpelier (by way of Germany and Switzerland) is now a book. Gears for Queers is out June 4th 2020, you can preorder a signed copy direct from us here or order from your local independent bookshop/Waterstones. We’ve just got back from our second tour, a six month journey with a few unexpected set backs from our home in Fife to Budapest, which you can read more about on our blog.
We currently live in Kirkcaldy, Fife where we run art clubs for kids, young people and adults. We love running zine workshops, led bike rides, talking about cycling and cycle touring and teaching basic bike maintenance, so get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org for collaborations, commissions, questions, interviews or other inquiries.
